"The pearl of the alps"
 
The car-free village of Saas-Fee (1800m above sea level) lies at the foot of the highest mountain in Switzerland, the Dom (4545m above sea level), which can be viewed in all its glory from the world's highest revolving restaurant. In summer, numerous excursion destinations, 350 km of hiking and themed trails and, last but not least, the grumpiest inhabitants of Saas-Fee: the famous tame marmots attract visitors.
During the winter, the outstanding snow conditions and well-kept slopes make Saas-Fee the ultimate haven for winter sports pros, as well as anyone who just wants to give it a go.

Arrival location

"Stunning view"
 
Our chalet-style house is located on a sunny slope, just a 5-minute walk from the center of Saas-Fee, a 3-minute walk from the Hannigbahn cable car and a 15-minute walk from the Alpin Express cable car.
 
Whether by car or by train and postal bus: The destination Saas-Fee/Saastal is easily accessible and offers ample parking. There are direct train connections to Visp from all major Swiss cities, from where bus 511 takes you directly to the Saas Valley. Guests from England and France can also travel comfortably by train directly from London to Visp. And from Zurich, Geneva, Basel, and Milan Malpensa airports, the journey time by public transport is approximately three hours.

"Family Anthamatten"
 
Sue from Bern and Iwan, who grew up in Saas-Fee, found not only their shared path in the mountains, but also the idea for Boutique Lodge Spycher. What began as a dream gradually became their home - a place they now share and shape together with their children, Yannis and Liv.

Today, they are present in the lodge every day for their guests. Whether at breakfast, checking the rooms, or working on the house and new projects — they are always involved, personal and attentive, with the wish that guests feel welcome from the very first moment.

"Generous buffet"
 
Sue and Iwan serve breakfast daily from 8.00 to 10.00 a.m. Guests can enjoy a generous breakfast with regional products and simple, homemade dishes. Fresh bread and croissants, muesli, yoghurt, cheese and cured meats, along with other small treats, are prepared to start the day well.

Breakfast is enjoyed in a cosy atmosphere, accompanied by the aroma of fresh coffee and views of the glacier - a calm and enjoyable way to begin the morning.
